Hyderabad: In the recently declared results of the Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET-2008), fifteen out of the top twenty ranks were secured by engineering students.
Students belonging to B.Tech stream registered a whopping 99.39 pass percentage while those who belong to B.Sc registered 98.38 percent. Candidates who belonged to the Humanities stream registered only 92.57 pass percent.
C.H.N.R. Vamsi Chaitanya of Rajahmundry secured the first rank scoring 181 marks while Anil Kumar Dasa of Hyderabad followed him with 180 marks.
The other rankers in the top 20 included S. Syam Kiran Panganamala, Ganji Pradeep, Medabalimi Rakesh, Mogili Vivek, V.N.G Sai Eswar Routhu, Abhishek Vyas, Ankit Chaturvedi, P. Pavan Kumar Reddy, Nagaraju Antyakula, Surya Kasinath Dontharaj, Ch. Ramakrishna, Neeraj, Mukkavilli Srilakshmi, Chimalakonda N.A. Chandra, Vinod Kumar Kodarapu, Muppidi Jaideep Reddy, Ayushman Govinda Rajan and Jinka Pandu Ranga Nayak.
Out of the top 20 candidates 10 were from Hyderabad and three were from Vishakapatnam.
Releasing the results, APSCHE Chairman K.C. Reddy said that three changes were made for the final inputs. It was found that two of the questions did not carry any answers while one question had two alternative answers.
