Mahbubnagar: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy inaugurated the Palamur University campus here on Sunday.

A hostel building constructed to accommodate more than 180 students was also inaugurated by him.

During the inauguration ceremony, the Chief Minister announced that a separate hostel for girls will be constructed shortly.

Dr. Reddy was on a three-hour whirlwind tour to the district.

"A master plan has already been prepared to construct necessary infrastructure for the university in a sprawling 170 acres", informed varsity Vice-Chancellor Gopal Reddy.
