Hyderabad: The Andhra Pradesh Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination begins from today with more than 10,000 students unable to appear for it because their application forms did not reach the District Educational Office concerned.
Moreover, many private schools have failed to forward applications of their students and many heads of schools did not submit the ICR applications of the students at the District Educational Office.
The unfortunate situation was brought to the notice of the Andhra Pradesh chief minister Mr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy who directed the authorities to hold supplementary examination for 10,000 students from May 15 (tentative).
