Hyderabad: The Government of Andhra Pradesh has taken a decision to appoint teachers at a mass scale to fill the vacancies in the Government-aided schools of the state.
More than 50,000 teachers will be appointed by the Government in 76,213 schools.
The decision was taken by Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy at a meeting held here on September 20 after assessing the staff needs of the Government schools.
Talking about the decision, state Education Minister, C. Damodar Rajanarshima said that the announcement regarding the appointment of teachers will be issued soon, including that of school assistants and secondary grade teachers.
