The Indian Accountancy profession has the distinction of not only being one of the largest in the world, but it is also one that has matured with the changing times.
The course will be launched by Union Railway Minister Mr. Lalu Prasad here at Vigyan Bhavan on December 10.
After addressing students and sharing the case study of turn around of Indian Railways at Harvard University and Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A), accountancy professionals will also be addressed by him at Vigyan Bhavan.
Mr. Prem Chand Gupta, Minister of Corporate Affairs, will be Guest of Honour on this occasion.
All companies in India, be it small, medium or large, need trained hands to work alongside the qualified Chartered Accountants so that the functioning of the accounts and finance department in every sector is not only smooth but is also effective.
The Accounting Technicians would not only fill the gaps at the operational level, but would also ensure that the value chain in the accounting process does not suffer.
With the launch of this course, students who have enrolled for the CA course, but for some reasons are not able to complete the course would have an option of becoming an Accounting Technician.
However at the same time, there is a scope for them to acquire CA qualification even after qualifying the Accounting Technician Course.
