ICSI announces admission to CS programme
New Delhi: The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has announced admission to its most reputed executive programme - Company Secretaries (CS) for graduates of any discipline (B.A / B.Sc / B.Com) excluding Fine Arts.

Graduates seeking admission until February 28, 2010, will be eligible for the examination in December 2010.

According to an official press release, the prospectus and application form for CS Executive Programme is available on cash payment of Rs.300/- from C-37, Sector-62, Noida- 201 309 or from ICSI-NIRC Building, Plot No. 4, Prasad Nagar Institutional Area, Rajendra Place, New Delhi.

The prospectus can also be obtained by a registered post by sending a Demand Draft/Postal Order for Rs.350/- favouring "The Institute of Company Secretaries of India" through any of the 73 offices of the ICSI spread all over India.

Students can also access CS helpline, which is available on telephone no: 011 - 41504444.

The ICSI is a premier National professional distance education body, established by an Act of Parliament (Company Secretaries Act, 1980) and imparts compulsory postal tuition (by correspondence) along with provision for optional oral coaching classes.

Admission to the CS course is open throughout the year. After qualifying the Executive and Professional examination students are required to undergo practical and modular training to become qualified Company Secretaries.
