NIFT Entrance Exam 2009 scheduled on Feb 8

New Delhi: The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) will conduct an entrance exam for admission to its various bachelors' and masters' degree programmes on February 9, 2009.

The prospectus along with application form can be obtained from selected branches of Axis Bank across India on payment of Rs.250 or by post enclosing a DD of Rs.350 in favour of NIFT, New Delhi from all NIFT Centres.

NIFT-2009 Announcement

"All candidates will have to appear for a written entrance examination at the examination centres designated by NIFT. The written entrance examination is designed to test the knowledge, skill and aptitude of the candidates for the programmed opted", an official from NIFT said.

Important dates for NIFT-2009

Application forms availability: Nov 24 - Dec 31, 2008

Last date of submission of form: January 7, 2009

Written entrance exam: February 8, 2009

Declaration of written exam results: Mid March, 2009

Situation Test / GD / Interviews: April-May, 2009

Declaration of Final Results: End of May, 2009
