Chandigarh: Santo, a little girl of a border-area village Doda Nanki, and a student of Government Primary School, has proved that it takes only a strong desire to achieve aim in one's life.
Santo stood first in the board examination of standard 5th, conducted by the Punjab School Education Board.
Hans Raj Thind, the Block Primary Education Officer, verified that Santo has secured 446 marks out of 450 and has been placed at first position in the whole state.
The news is earning huge applauses both from Santo's family, her school and now emerged from across the whole state.
Speaking on the commendable fete by her doughter, the father said she has always been brilliant in the studies but this unique achievement has made them really feel proud of their little one.
Santo expressed great amount of satisfaction that her hard work yielded the fruit. She gave the credit of her success to her family for their full support and blessings. She also attributed her achievement to the faculty of primary school that made her realize her potential.
