AIIMS Director addresses seminar on modernization of Military Hospitals
New Delhi: Professor Ramesh C Deka, Director of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) delivered the keynote address at a seminar on 'Emerging Trends in Planning of Multi-Specialty Hospitals' organized by the Engineer-in-Chief at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi, today.

The aim of the seminar was to bring together professionals engaged in planning and creation of Multi-Speciality hospital infrastructure, so as to interact, share and expand their knowledge in this vital field of health care.

Engineers, Consultants, Architects, Medical Professionals, engaged in development of health care infrastructure in the country both in public as well as in private domain participated in this seminar.

Lieutenant General Gautam Dutt welcomed all participants. Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, former President of India, participated in the seminar as the Chief-Guest. While, Army Chief General Deepak Kapoor was the guest of honour. Vice Army Chief Lieutenant General Noble Thamburaj concluded the proceedings of the seminar.
