New Delhi: A student from the Indian Institute of Planning and Management (IIPM) has bagged a record domestic package offer of Rs.12 lakhs per annum and an international package offer of Rs.27 lakh per annum, said a spokesman at the institute.
The average salary offered by recruiters to IIPM students was Rs.5 lakhs per annum.
In FMCG (fast moving consumer goods), Pepsi Co, Berger Paints, Café Coffee Day, Everyday, Reebok, ITES, Evalueserve.com, Pipal Research, Copal Partners, Recershe, WNS Global and Inter Globe Solutions are the regular recruiters and in the banking category, Kotak Group, Standard Chartered, Centurian Bank, Deutshce Bank, ICICI Bank, ICICI Direct, HSBC and American Express are the regular recruiters, added the spokesman.
The Delhi wing of the institute was established in 1973 and now it has seven campuses across the country.
The spokesman further said, "We acknowledge the fact that India Inc. now has an extensive global foot print and is in its most dynamic phase of growth. In line with this understanding, IIPM partners with faculties from universities around the world to help students develop strong links to global business".
He added that faculty from Ivy League Schools, Harvard Business School, Wharton Kellog School of Management, Chicago GSB, MIT Sloan School of Management, Columbia Business School, Yale School of Management, London School of Economics, Judge Business School (Cambridge) and Said Business School (Oxford) not only participate in the academic calendar but also in the institute's executive development programs.
