UPSC announces Engineering Services Exam 2009 results
New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced result of the written part of the Engineering Services Examination, 2009 held in June 2009.

"Out of 131,937 candidates admitted in the examination, 51,840 candidates appeared in the written part of the examination. 1,493 candidates have qualified for interview for the personality test," said an official press release from the UPSC.

The community wise and discipline wise break up of qualified candidates is available on www.ExamResults.net.

"Interview of candidates who have qualified for the personality test is scheduled to be held from February 22, 2010 onwards. The exact date of interview will, however, be intimated to the candidates through an interview letter. Roll number wise interview schedule will also be available on the Commission's website by the second week of February, 2010," said an official of the UPSC.

The marks-sheets of candidates who have not qualified will be available on the Commission's website within one month from the date of publication of the result and would be available for a period of 60 days.

"The candidature of these candidates is provisional subject to their being found eligible in all respects. Detailed Application Forms (DAF) would be issued to all the qualified candidates shortly," he added.

In case the candidates do not receive the DAF by January 13, 2010, they should contact the Commission on Telephone No.23387402 or on Fax No.011-23387310.
