New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will conduct the Engineering Service Examination 2009 on June 6, 2009.

Any candidate having an engineering degree or equivalent is eligible to apply for the exam.

Aspiring candidates must apply in the common application form, devised by the UPSC, which can be purchased from the designated Head Post Offices and send it to Secretary, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069 with the Central Recruitment Fee Stamp of Rs.100 only ( SC/ST/PH candidates are exempted from payment of Fee)

All applications must reach the office of UPSC either by hand or by Post / Speed Post or by Courier, on or before February 9, 2009.

However, for candidates residing abroad or in certain remote areas, the last date for receipt of applications is February 16, 2009.
