Panaji: The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) has invited applications from Private candidates for its SSC Examination to be conducted in October, 2008.
Board officials informed that private candidates enrolled in December, 2007 and who have been declared as 'Needs improvement / Fails in their Previous Examination', if desiring to appear for SSC examination in October 2008, are required to submit their applications for the new NCERT syllabus introduced w.e.f 2007-08 by August 4, 2008 without late fees and August 19, 2008 with late fees.
Time barred fees shall be charged till September 1, 2008.
For the Old syllabus (2004-05), the last day of receipt of applications without late fees is August 4, 2008, with late fees is August 19, 2008 and time barred fees will be charged on September 1, 2008.
Examination forms will be accepted beyond time barred date with additional fees of Rs.10/- per day besides the time-barred fees.
This will be done till the date of generation of seat numbers.
The application forms are available in the office of the GBSHSE, a Board official told.
