Goa: Fifteen students from Goa will fly to Delhi to attend a two-week socio-political study camp named 'Discovery of India' from October 31 to November 13, 2008.
The camp, to be organized by Marg India, will arrange for the interaction of students with established social and political activists, journalists, thinkers and writers.
Last year, students interacted with Mr. Rajdeep Sardesai, Ms. Kiran Bedi and Rajya Sabha MP, Mr. Shantaram Naik at a similar camp.
All expenses of the camp will be borne by Marg India.
Marg India convenor, Mr. Gurunath Kelekar along with Mr. Ramesh Velsurkar, Mr. Pravin Sabnis and Mr. Rajashri Gaunkar will accompany the selected students to Delhi, a press release said.
Meanwhile, a 4-day, 3-night workshop will be held from August 14 to 17, 2008 at the Peaceful Society campus at Marcaim for around 50 students, of which 15 will be selected for the Delhi trip.
