Haryana plans science summer coaching in schools

Chandigarh: Students in select government schools in Haryana will undergo summer coaching classes in science subjects through hired professional coaching agencies, a senior education official said here Sunday.

Director of school education Vijayinder Kumar said that the summer coaching in physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics will be held from June 1 to 30.

The coaching will be given by the hired professional coaching agencies in 21 designated science schools.

Among these schools are government senior secondary schools at Naraingarh, Gurgaon, Fatehabad, Faridabad, Hisar, Jhajjar, Jind, Kaithal, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Narnaul, Taoru, Samalkha, Palwal, Bawal and Yamunanagar.

Government girls senior secondary school in Bhiwani, Panchkula, Rohtak, Gohana and the model senior secondary school in Sirsa are also part of the summer programme.

According to Kumar, the coaching would be digital and project-based with the agencies providing the faculty and learning material. IANS
