Less than 20 percent candidates passed HTET
Chandigarh: The result of Haryana State Teachers' Eligibility Test (HTET) conducted by State Board of School Education was announced on Friday. The maximum pass percentage for it reached only 19.86 in one category.
In the other two categories, the pass percentage is less than 16.

A spokesman for the board said that out of 1,66,393 candidates from category I (teachers for class I to V), 33052 have been successful.

Likewise, out of 1,57,624 candidates, who appeared in II category (teachers for classes VI to VIII), only 24,766 have been declared passed. The pass percentage for this category was 15.71.

In category III (lecturers), 88,626 candidates appeared, out of which 13,299 i.e. 15.01% applicants cleared the examination.
