Agra: Students of a private college in Agra answered their exam dpaper on Tuesday afternoon in a bus stranded in a traffic jam, near Khandauli, 20 km from here.

The college authority sent the question papers and answer scripts to the students.

Traffic on the Agra-Aligarh road has been blocked for a week now, thanks to tractors laden with sacks of potatoes, waiting for their turn to enter cold storages.

A college bus ferrying students to their annual examination failed to get out of the traffic snarl. When the plight of the students was brought to the notice of the principal of St Stephen's Senior Secondary College, Gajendra Singh, he sent motorbike riders with the question papers and answer scripts.

Singh said he has not postponed the examination and has promised to be a little lenient to ensure that the students did not suffer.

While students answered their examination, the bus moved at a snail's pace. "The principal's daring initiative has definitely earned him a lot of goodwill in the city," a passenger said. IANS
