Jammu: It's yet another call from the Jammu and Kashmir education minister Mr. Gulchain Singh Charak for private educational institutions in the state to accommodate more poor and meritorious students by relaxing the existing fee structure.
The minister while addressing a function to celebrate the foundation day of Model Institute of Education and Research in Jammu on Monday said, "The private educational institutions play a pioneering role in the overall development of a child and they should widen their accessibility by relaxing their fee structure to accommodate students from the needy and unprivileged sections of the society."
Charak pointed out that services rendered by the private sector in education could bear fruitful results only when its benefit reaches to the needy and poor. He said the goal could be achieved only by way of relaxing the fee structure and reserving a quota of seats for these classes. "The managements of the private institutions would have to take a bold step for the betterment and welfare of the society," Charak added.
