Srinagar: University of Kashmir and British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) have joined hands together to launch a two year project for encouraging social affairs reporting in the state.

Moreover, this information is passed on by Univ spokesman Mr. Shoukat Shafi who mentioned that, BBC World Service Trust will come up with a radio studio at Educational Multimedia Research Centre (EMMRC) which will be including all the latest recording and post production facilities used for radio programming.

Adding to this, Mr. Shafi said that students of Media Education Research Centre looked very happy after the news broke out to them as they will be getting advantage to study something new in addition to the present subject which will in longer run help them in their future prospects.
