About 70 percent pass Jharkhand secondary board exams
Ranchi: Around 69.31 per cent students passed out in 2011 Jharkhand Secondary Examination Board results, announced on Tuesday in Ranchi.

Jharkhand Human Resource Development (HRD) Minister Baijnath Ram released the results at Jharkhand Academic Council on Tuesday.

Anjali of Hazaribagh district topped the list by securing 91 per cent marks.

A total of 3,54,802 students appeared in the examination in the state. Outshining girls, a total of 1,89,946 boys passed as compared to 1,64,680 girls.

Palamau district topped in all 24 districts of the state, with 80.76 per cent students passing in the examination.

In 2010, 74.37 students had passed the intermediate examination of the state. IANS
