Ranchi: President Pratibha Patil will attend Ranchi University's silver jubilee convocation here on December 10, a government statement said on Tuesday.

Jharkhand Governor M.O.H. Farook directed university Vice Chancellor A. Khan to make preparations for the convocation, it said.

The convocation is scheduled to be held in the Basic Science Bhavan of the university which has received applications from 3,000 students for participating in the ceremony. IANS
