New Delhi: Educomp Solutions, a city-based education solutions provider, on Friday said it has signed an agreement with Karnataka's Department of State Education Research and Training for implementing computer-aided education in 1,571 schools in the state.

The order is valued at Rs.1,090 million and will be implemented over five years, a company statement said.

Educomp has also signed an agreement with the Chhattisgarh government for imparting computer-aided education in 52 hostels, the statement added.

With these orders, the total number of educational institutions in Educomp's information, communications and technology (ICT) portfolio has gone up to 8,912. IANS
