Annual cultural festival of NIT-C inaugurated

Kozhikode: The three day long cultural festival 'Ragam 09' of the National Institute of Technology, Calicut (NIT-C) was inaugurated here at its campus on March 25. The festival was inaugurated by G.R.C. Reddy, director NIT-C.

The inaugural function was followed by a music show.

More than 1,500 students from over 120 colleges across the country will participate in the 40-odd events to be held over the next three days.

Anthakshari (Malayalam), Dumb Charades, Vegetable Carving, Debate (Hindi), Extempore (Malayalam), Kathaprasangam, Mock Press (prelims), Painting, Collage and Guitar solo will be some of the contests to be held today.

Saleem Sayed Bava, International Marketing Coordinator of University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD) and Suresh G., Bank of Baroda Senior Manager (Chennai) attended the inaugural function.
