Thiruvananthpuram: An Indian named Dr. Narendra Kumar, Malayali Physician in the U.S. has been provided honor as he has been elected treasurer of the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI).

He is a graduate from the Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram and is believed to be the first Malayali to get elected to the spot.
