HC issues notice to Amity Law School

New Delhi: The Delhi High Court on Tuesday issued notices to the Delhi Government, Amity Law School (Noida), Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) and the Bar Council of India (BCI) following allegations of violation of admission rules.

The petitioner, Samar Khan alleged that Amity Law School had ranked him in the wait-list for admission under the management quota below candidates who had performed worse than him in the Common Entrance Test (CET) and had obtained fewer marks in the Class XII Board examinations.

Having failed to secure admission under the General Category through the CET conducted for admission to the LLB (Honours) course, the petitioner had applied for admission under the management quota at Amity Law School.
