Same paper repeated after 6 months at GLC

Mumbai: Students at the city's prestigious Government Law College (GLC) were taken aback on receiving a question paper which had already been attempted by its students six months back.

There was only one change in the Company Law question paper, its code - VJ-7868 in the April-May paper and MR-4773 in the November-December paper.

Interestingly, the most evident mistake in dispatching the same paper for the exams in April-May 2007 and November-December 2007 for the second year students was the presence of exactly the same typographical mistakes.

The Bombay High Court had recently ordered the institute authorities to come up with a 'proper plan' to administer the GLC.

"This is shocking. Such carelessness can ruin a student's career," said Yashmin Tawaria, an honorary professor at GLC.
