Rahul Gandhi interacts with children in Bhopa

Bhopal: Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi who arrived here on Saturday interacted with schoolchildren after inaugurating Sanskar Valley school's boys and girls hostel.

Students asked him about his entry into politics, his hobbies, favourite books and marriage and he smiled away most of the questions.

Later, he gave away prizes to the children who had excelled in sports, education and extra curricular activities during the last academic session.

The Congress leader was earlier accorded a warm welcome at the Bhopal airport from where he straightaway went to attend the function of the school and remained there for more than an hour.

He went to the Madhya Pradesh Congress office and held closed door meetings with the party's office bearers and district presidents, sources said. IANS
