Panjim: The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) will conduct a course in Sports Leadership and Management from 29th August to 9th September, 2008 at Pune.

Physical Education teachers, sports scientists, sports administrators, sports persons, women working as sports journalists and research scholars in sports sciences are eligible to attend the course.

The course has been approved by the International Olympic Association Committee.

According to the officials, the course will be conducted by eminent experts who have been associated with the Olympic Games.

During the 35 hours of the course, there will be intensive interaction on the matters related to Sports Management & Olympic ideals besides the Olympic Movement.

Interested candidates falling under the above mentioned categories are requested to submit their applications to the Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs along with Bio-Data on or before 29th July, 2008 in person.

The application shall be addressed to the Secretary General, Olympic Bhavan, B-29, Qutub Institutional Area, New Delhi-110016 (India).
