| Maharashtra Class 10 results on June 26 June 20, 2008 Pune: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will declare the SSC (Class 10) 2008 Examination results on June 26, 2008 at 11:00 am IST. A total of 15,98,213 students appeared for the Class 10 examination conducted by MSBSHSE in February / March this year. Board officials are expecting a similar rise in the overall performance of Class 10 students this year, as was seen in the Class 12 results, which was announced on June 7, 2008. In 2007, the overall pass percentage for the SSC Examination was 70.59, six percent higher than the 64.59 percent in 2006 and far better than the 57.31 percent in 2005. The Pune Division consisting of the Pune, Ahmednagar and Solapur districts recorded a 73.46 percent pass percentage in 2007, which was 7.56 percent higher than the previous year. The pass percentage for the Class 12 (HSC) examination this year was 77.33 percent. The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) conducts the HSC and SSC examination in the state through its eight Divisional Boards located at Pune, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Mumbai, Kolhapur, Amravati, Nasik and Latur. |
