Maharashtra announces new date to conduct CET

Mumbai: The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET), for admission to government technical and medical colleges will be held on May 12, this was announced yesterday.

The CET exam was earlier scheduled on May 7.

"Karnataka Government is also conducting its entrance exam on May, so we have decided to change the date of entrance exam," said Bhushan Gagrani, medical education secretary.

But May 12, also coincides with entrance test to BITS Pilani.
