Nagpur: Working towards strengthening Vocational Training in the state of Maharashtra, Indo Rama Synthetics (India) Ltd, a polymer manufacturing company, has inked a MoU with the Directorate of Vocational Education and Training, Maharashtra for the upgradation of academic standards and teaching methods at the Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Nagpur.
Elaborating on the need for similar collaborations, Mr. R S Singhvi, President - Corporate, Indo Rama, said that ITI's have always been instrumental in grooming thousands of graduates with technical skills and bent of minds.
"The ITIs have been continuously contributing towards the technical skill development of Indian students. However, keeping into account the changing business and industry requirements, it's imperative to constantly upgrade and revise the process to effectively address the changing industry requirements", he said.
Addition of two new courses relevant to the industry demands at ITI, Nagpur is also being worked upon.
