New Delhi: The All India Management Association (AIMA) has announced the date for Management Aptitude Test (MAT) 2009 as December 6, 2009.

MAT offers admissions to final year students or graduates in any discipline to various management institutes across the country.

The procedure to apply for MAT is either by obtaining a form with MAT Bulletin/CD against cash payment of Rs.980/- from listed branches of Bank of Baroda, listed Study Centres of AIMA or from AIMA, New Delhi or obtain crossed Demand Draft (DD) of Rs.1050/- in favour of 'All India Management Association' payable at Delhi from any Bank.


The last date for sending the filled-in application form is November 12, 2009.

MAT is a popular national entrance test among the management aspirants.

This test is conducted by the Centre for Management Services (CMS) of All India Management Association (AIMA). Institutes offering PG program in management and allied subjects generally participate in this exam.

The MAT score is accepted by various institutes such as Amity Business School, Indian Institute of Finance, Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management & Development Studies.

All management institutes that participate in MAT are either AICTE (All Indian Council for Technical Education) approved or affiliated to universities.
