Aligarh: For the first time in the history of the 87-year-old Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), admission tests for various courses will be held at five different places in the country.

The tests will be held at Kolkata, Pune, Bhopal, Kozhikode and Aligarh. For B.Tech/B.Arch., the test will be May 17, AMU spokesman Rahat Abrar said.

AMU Vice Chancellor P.K. Abdul Azis has written to chief secretaries of the states where the entrance test will be held to provide adequate security arrangements.

For the first time also, all application forms for admission were put on the web. The whole admission process has been digitized this year. IANS
