Orissa students demonstrate against fee hike
Berhampur: The regional office of the Orissa Board of Secondary Education (BSE) in the city on Monday saw protests from the activists of the All India Democratic Students' Organization (AIDSO) against its decision to hike the examination fee of the secondary school board examination.

Their state secretariat member, Somnath Behera, led the activists of the AIDSO.

Students of the Khallikote Autonomous College, some school students and some engineering students took an active part in the agitators' team to take out a rally from Kamapalli square terminating at the regional office of the BSE handling over a memorandum addressed to the secretary of the office.

The memorandum stated to cease the fee hike in government institutions and immediately take steps to address the poor students of the state do not get harassed by the recent examination fee hike by the BSE.
