Chandigarh: The Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training has invited applications for the 2-year Diploma in Pharmacy course in the institutes affiliated to the board.
Candidates who want to pursue the course should have passed in any of the following examinations with Physics, Chemistry & Biology or Mathematics:
Intermediate examination in Science or the first year of the three year degree course in science or 10+2 examination (academic stream) in science or Pre-degree examination or any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).
Candidates passing 10+2 from National / State Open Schools are not eligible for admission to the course.
The prospects along with the application forms are available for Rs.250 at the office counter of the Board and the affiliated institutions.
It can also be received by hand at the affiliated institutes till June 200, 2008 (4 pm) on payment of Rs.520 in the form of a demand draft, drawn in favour of 'Secretary, Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training' payable at Chandigarh only.
The last date for submission of completed application forms is June 30, 2008.
The board has also arranged online counseling sessions for candidates from July 3, 2008.
