Bhilwara: The aspirants giving Common Admission Test (CAT) for admission to the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) going online for the first time for eleven days have faced the music of resentment but the e-CAT claiming itself to be the conductor of a National Level online entrance exams for the management and professional courses takes the initiative to conduct them 365 days for admission to college of their choice.

The online exam will be of two hours anytime between 10.00 am to 8.00 pm. This is not all, the result of the online exam will also be declared within 15 to 20 seconds of submission.

However, the exam will not make you eligible for the IIMs admission but around 50 prestigious colleges are on their list and the aspirants are to get admission based on the scores obtained in it.

Following a student-friendly approach, the student will himself decide the date, time and place of the exam.

E-CAT is started all the way through ecatindia.com. The examination will start from December 15. As an online exam centre, it has a tie-up with Reliance World (A division of Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group). Its exam centers are available in 100 plus cities with 300 plus centres.

While filling the examination form, a student can choose up to 10 colleges of his choice and those with good scores would be considered for admission in the best college after passing the group discussion and interview stage.

In order to register for the exam, one has to apply online through a registration form available on www.ecatindia.com. The prescribed fee of the course Rs.250, can be deposited through a credit card or a demand draft drawn in favour of 'eCATINDIA.COM' payable at Bhilwara.

After the registration, the student will be provided with a unique username and password. A student can take the exam any number of times but he has to re-register himself.
