IISc Bangalore announces dates for JEST 2012
Bangalore: Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore (IISc) has announced the date of written test for Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST) 2012 as February 19, 2012.

These exams are conducted for admission in Ph.D/ Integrated Ph. D Programme in Physics or Theoretical Computer Science.

All the successful candidates will be enrolled for one of the participating institutes which include IIA, IISc, IMSc, JNCASR, IUCAA, NCRA-TIFR, RRI, IISER Pune, IISER Mohalil, IISER Thiruvananthapuram, IPR and SNBNCBS.

The minimum qualification that an applicant must have received for applying to a particular course varies among above listed institutions.

Tests will be held at several locations including Aligarh, Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Pune, Delhi, Nagpur, Patna and many others.

The request for sending an application form through post can be done by December 5, 2011. While the last date for receiving complete application online or through post is December 15, 2011.
