Bharathiar University signs MoU with Suguna Poultry

Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu): A two-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was recently signed between the Department of Botany, Bharathiar University (BU) and Suguna Poultry Farm Limited.

Under the MoU, Suguna Poultry will provide a grant of Rs.4 lakhs to the varsity cover research inputs & remuneration for research scholars and traveling expenses.

The varsity's Department of Botany will help the company in the development of various poultry feed supplements.

The MoU will also focus on biodiversity conservation and scientific validation of traditional knowledge.
