New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will conduct the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2008 at 19 centres from October 17, 2008.

An official release from the UPSC said, "Admission certificates to all eligible candidates have already been issued. Letters of rejection citing the grounds for rejection have also been sent. If any applicant has not received either of the above communications, he/she may contact UPSC Facilitation Counter on Tel. No.23381125, 23098543 and 23385271."

"The candidates can also send messages on Fax No.01123387310. The information about venue particulars in respect of all the admitted candidates is available on the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) website - www.upsc.gov.in", it further said.

Mobile phones, pagers or any other communication devices are not allowed inside the premises where the Commission's examination is being conducted.

Mobile phones are also not allowed during Interviews/Personality Tests conducted by the Commission.
