UPSC announces Indian Forest Service Exam 2009 result
New Delhi: "Based on the result of the written part of the Indian Forest Service Examination, 2009 held by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) in July 2009, 231 candidates have qualified for interview/ personality test," said an official press release.

The candidature of all these candidates is provisional subject to their being found eligible in all respects.


"In accordance with the condition(s) of their admission to the examination, the candidates should keep original certificates in support of their age, educational qualification, claim to belong to the scheduled caste/scheduled tribe/OBC etc. in readiness for submission at the time of their interview," said a UPSC official.

The qualified candidates will be sent a detailed application form, which should be returned to the Commission within the closing date indicated in the forwarding letter.

"In case any of these candidates does not receive a communication in this regard within two weeks of the publication of this result, he/she should immediately contact the Commission, giving his/her particulars i.e. roll number, full name, date of birth, address etc," the official added.

The UPSC has a facilitation counter at its campus. Candidate may obtain any information/clarification regarding their examination/result on working days between 10.00 A.M to 5.00 P.M in person or over telephone Nos. (011)-23385271/23381125/23098543 from this counter.
