Agartala: Leading magician P.C. Sorcar (Jr.) will establish a day boarding school in Tripura.

Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar on Tuesday laid the foundation of the school - P.C. Sorcar Foundation for Total Education.

It will be located at Khayerpur, 20 km from here, and will be affiliated to the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) board.

"There is no dearth of talent among Indian young boys and girls but they need proper guidance," Sorcar, 64, told reporters.

Sorcar, who has won around 50 international awards, said, "Besides traditional education, all extra curricular activities - painting, dance, songs, sports and magic - would be taught." IANS
