Agartala: Normal life came to a standstill as the ruling Left Front called for a dawn-to-dusk bandh in Tripura today.

The Bandh was called to protest against the hike in the price of petroleum products.

All schools and colleges in the state remained closed and Tripura University also deferred the examinations scheduled for today.

Furthermore, all offices, shops, markets and streets bore a deserted look and no flight took off or landed at the Agartala airport, official sources said.
