DU North Campus to get low cost Cafes
New Delhi: Students of the University of Delhi (DU) would be excited to know that the university is planning to open pocket-friendly cafes at North Campus.

One indoor and three outdoor cafes will be operational that will serve coffee as well as refreshments at low rates. They can enjoy refreshing and affordable coffee while discussing issues at open-air cafes.

Dinesh Singh, Vice-Chancellor, DU said that they are looking forward at an arrangement which attracts all students.

Three sites have already been identified for opening up of open-air cafes. One café will be behind the Vice-Chancellors office, another near Zoology Department and third one in the Arts Faculty. The university is still searching a location for main indoor café.

Though, the canteens at North Campus are popular, yet students are happy about the move. While no one can resist Keema Dosa at D School and mince at St. Stephen's, students don't find decent coffee anywhere in the Campus.

A student informed that there are good coffee shops at Kamla Nagar but these shops are very expensive, availability of good and low cost coffee in campus is a fantastic idea.

Besides the above mentioned move, the university is also proposing starting mobile vans to serve refreshments in the Campus.

Mr. Singh added that there should be two vans for serving healthy, affordable and tasty refreshments to students.
