New Delhi: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) and Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) will jointly organize a seminar on distance education in the capital on July 18.

The seminar, named 'Distance Education in Bharat Nirman', will be organized at the Delton Hall of IETE on July 18, 2008 at 5:00 pm.

IGNOU Vice-Chancellor Prof. V.N. Rajasekharan Pillai and Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. K.K. Aggarwal will also attend the seminar.

The two institutes had earlier singed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to conduct training programmes for skill upgradation and prepare course modules for certification of human resources.
