| IGNOU admission process to begin on Wednesday May 20, 2008 New Delhi: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will start its admission process for scores of management programmes from Wednesday, a varsity official said on Tuesday. "Candidates can obtain application forms and prospectus for masters in business administration (MBA), post-graduate diplomas in management, human resource development, finance, operations, marketing and diploma in management," said Ravi Mohan, IGNOU spokesman. "The university will be admitting the students for the degree/diplomas in management starting from January 2009 and July 2009 through an entrance test OPENMAT-XXIV. It will be held Aug 17 across the country," Mohan added. The university, is one of the largest distant learning centres in Asia, has a student's base of over 1.5 million. It has a presence in 35 countries including India. |
