New Delhi: A new post-graduate course in Project Management has been launched by the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) in association with the Centre of Excellence in Project Management and Project Management Associates.

IGNOU vice-chancellor Prof. V.N. Rajasekharan Pillai said that the Post Graduate Certificate in Project Management (PGCPM) has been designed with 18 credit units and will be completed in 6 months.

The course will be delivered with help from the Centre of Excellence in Project Management and, the Project Management Associates will help the varsity to conduct its examinations.

The programme has been initiated by the School of Engineering and Technology.

"The course will be helpful in preparing students and professionals for managing projects, besides helping the nation bridge the gap in the knowledge domain", Pillai added.
