IGNOU to offer two new online courses

New Delhi: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) on Monday announced the launch of two new programs under its online mode.

The varsity introduced an MA in Library Science and a Post-Graduate certificate course in Cyber Law.

"This is just the beginning. We will offer all our courses in print and online modes," said Prof. V.N. Rajasekharan Pillai, the vice-chancellor of the varsity after the launch of the two programs.

All academic activities like admission, classes, assignments and examinations will be held online in these courses. The courses will provide a virtual learning environment right from registration to certification.

All interested students for the two programmes will have to get themselves registered online, while IGNOU will provide the course material on its website, the varsity administration revealed.
