New Delhi: A diploma course in Mechanical Engineering will be introduced by Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) from the next academic session.

Students having certificate in Motorcycle Service and Repair (CMSR) from the University with 55 percent marks in class X or having an ITI certificate are eligible for admission in the Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) programme of the varsity.

Interested candidates can purchase the application forms and prospectus from September 15, 2008.
