30 AMU Urdu Department's Students passed NET and JRF examination
Aligarh: Thirty students of the Urdu Department of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) have added a feather to the varsity's name by cracking JRF and NET examination conducted by University Grant Commission (UGC).

Dr. Syed Mohammad Hashim, Officiating Chariman of Urdu Department said that it was joyful that eleven students cleared NET while nineteen students got through JRF.

He recited the name of Mahjabeen Bano, Saba Khatoon, Mohd. Salman, Tarannum Bano, Akram Waris, Anjum Parveen, Aqueel Ahmad, Qurrat-ul-Ain, Abdul Rehman, Huma Parveen, Zamirullah and Shagufta as students who cleared JRF.

Ehsanullah, Tahniat Fatia, Arshia Hasan and Shahabullah are among the students who passed NET.

According to Dr. Hashim the fact that such a large number of University's students got successful, has brought applaud not only to the Urdu Department but the entire Varsity.

Prof. Qazi Afzal Husain, Former Chaiman of Urdu Department and Dean, Faculty of Arts has congratulated the students on their success and wished them a bright future.
