AMU's commerce department organizes two workshops
Aligarh: The Department of Commerce, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) in collaboration with the University Grants Commission (UGC) Academic Staff College organized two six-day long workshops on Research Methodology for research scholars and faculty members of the department.

Welcoming the guests Prof. Badr Alam Iqbal, Chairman, department of Commerce spelled out the benefits accruing to the faculty from the workshops that were held for the first time in the history of department of Commerce.

Addressing the programme Director, Academic Staff College and the Chief Guest Prof. A. R. Kidwai urged the participants to develop critical thinking and commitment to their area of interest, which will ultimately help them scale the heights of academic excellence.

Prof. Kidwai appreciated the participants for their keen interest in attending the workshops.

Prof. Ziauddin Khairoowala, Dean Faculty of Commerce and Guest of Honour emphasized the need for quality research an assured all the help and facilities in their work. The participants also expressed their views on this occasion.

The staff members of the department also attended the programme.

On this occasion, Prof. Kidwai and Prof. Khairoowala gave away the Certificates of Participation to the participants of two workshops.
